Item Description
This shot of Walter Schreifels captures a standout moment during Youth of Today’s performance at “REV30,” celebrating 30 years of the legendary Revelation Records. The show took place at Aurea Vista in Riverside, CA, on June 29, 2017, bringing together generations of artists for a night of hardcore punk history.
The black-and-white image, tinted with striking blue accents, reflects the distinct intensity and urgency of the performance. Walter Schreifels remains a cornerstone of the underground music scene. As a prolific songwriter and musician, his influence spans across foundational New York hardcore (NYHC) and post-hardcore bands, including his work with Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, and Rival Schools alongside Youth of Today.
The REV30 show was more than a concert; it was a documentation of a movement, bringing together the bands and fans that helped define the independent hardcore scene. This fine-art print serves as a direct tribute to that legacy.
Setlist from June 29, 2017, at Aurea Vista:
Flame Still Burns, Take a Stand, Positive Outlook, Expectations, Make a Change, Honesty, Put It Aside, Can’t Close My Eyes, Thinking Straight, No More, Youth of Today, One Family, Youth Crew, Standing Hard, Together, Break Down the Walls. Encore: Glue (SSD cover).
