The original Misfits lineup reunion at Riot Fest 2016 was one of those moments in punk history that many thought would never actually happen. Having Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein back on stage together after decades apart was a massive milestone to document.
Documenting this performance felt like capturing a classic era in real time. The energy on stage was pure chaos, amplified by the historic weight of the reunion. The band tore through their set list like no time had passed, with Danzig commanding the stage alongside Jerry and Doyle’s heavy, unmistakable visual presence. The massive crowd responded in kind, throwing fists up and locking into the dark, aggressive energy of the night.
