Captured on March 9, 2020, at 1720 in Los Angeles, this frame documents a packed house and one of the last chaotic, high-intensity hardcore shows in the city before the live music industry hit pause.

To capture the true movement and erratic kinetic energy of the set, I utilized a slow-shutter long exposure technique. The camera tracked the movement across the stage, dragging the ambient venue lighting into bright, swirling arcs that wrap entirely around Dennis mid-vocal performance.

Sharing the stage with Lyxzén that night were Kristofer Steen on guitar, David Sandström on drums, and Magnus Flagge on bass—delivering a razor-sharp, relentless performance. The set list seamlessly balanced newer material with foundational post-hardcore staples, reinforcing why The Shape of Punk to Come remains an uncompromised blueprint for modern heavy music.
